I have sensitive skin that regular soap tends to dry out. I bought the Solace since it is unscented and has lots of moisturizer in it. So far it has left me feeling fresh, clean and soft right out of the shower.

When I'm not using the Rugged, I'm using this for a soft and clean feel. I have super sensitive skin, but this has been used on my face and body without ANY irritation. Haven't been able to say that about a bar of soap in awhile!!

I've been looking for an honest brand that makes unscented body soap with natural ingredients. Also, the exfoliant has eliminated the need for a loofah or scrub glove. This bar of soap has left me feeling clean and soft every single time!!!!

This bar is my go to now. Rugged is for those tough clean jobs, but primal is my everyday soap and it's helped my skin quite a lot. For extra exfoliation use the bar itself, but for every day I suds up a cloth/loofa and use that for a less abrasive wash.

Things that are hard to get off like grease don't stand a chance to Rugged. You may be wondering if it gets you that clean, is it drying? Absolutely not! Great for any room with a faucet - kitchen, mudroom, bathroom, garage, workshop you name it!

This soap is aptly named Rugged. The amount of pumice in this soap is great for scrubbing away the grime of the day. I really like using it after I work outside and am caked in dirt. Use the bar mostly on my legs, my arms and my pits. It is a rough scrub so I don't use the bar directly on my belly, back or neck but I will I lather up my scrubber to use it on those areas. The black color from the activated charcoal is a lot of fun and does not stain my skin or my shower. This soap, like Solace and Primal, does not leave my skin feeling tacky or dry, which is a huge plus. I enjoy using it and will buy again.

I waited until I had used this soap for two weeks before writing this review to make sure I could see how my skin liked it after switching over from my old soap. Not going back to my old soap-I didn't know soap could feel soft! It lathers well and makes you want to run your hands over your skin forever because of how good it makes you feel. I mainly use this soap for my face and neck areas. It leaves my face feeling smooth and creamy but without the nasty film other face washes and soaps have left behind in the past. The fact that it doesn't leave behind a residue is my #1 reason for liking this soap and my #2 reason is that it doesn't dry out my skin. I live in the desert so anything that doesn't dry out my skin gets extra points. Love this soap! Will buy again.

I wanted to use this soap for 2 weeks before leaving a review so it could be a thorough one. Within 2 days of using this soap, it has become my favorite soap of all time. I don't like body wash and the many bars of soap I've tried over the years either leave me dry or with a waxy film. Not Primal.
Primal has the perfect amount of scrub (from the pumice) that can be used on most of my body and I'm glad I can use it with my scrubber or just the bar itself. The amount of lather was surprising and when I rinsed off, it didn't leave behind any film or dry me out. I will definitely buy more of these bars in the future.

Sometimes when I get really hot and sweaty, or dirty working out in the yard, I want to get that layer of grime off my skin without stripping oils or drying my skin out. This is that soap. I can use it on a wash cloth or directly on my skin and the scrubbiness in it is perfect to take off the unclean feeling and leave my skin feeling moisturized and clean without feeling like I took my top layer of skin off.

Solace is absolutely fantastic. It does a great job getting my skin clean and keeps my skin moisturized. When it’s been really dry, it does a fantastic job of putting moisture back into my skin without a residue and it feels lovely on the skin.

This is a fantastic soap, for hands or for a body. Some may be worried about the black streaks that appear when you start washing - don't be. It rinses away with no residue. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and almost squeaky clean but at the same time - not drying like other harsh exfoliating soaps. Also - not coming out of the bathroom smelling like a flower, perfume, or cologne, just neutral, is a bonus!

I like the slightly scrubby nature of the bar itself. Makes it feel like it's really working at cleaning. Base soap is smooth, lathers well, and rinses clean. Love it!

Fantastic lather, soap smooth and firmly cohesive. My skin feels great after using it - clean *and* moisturized, which I didn't think was even possible to have together. No residue, rinses just as clean as it leaves your skin.

All the soaps were super easy to order and delivered very quickly. This bar particularly gave a great scrub, left me feeling cleaner than I have in awhile and left my skin feeling fantastic. Highly recommend this bar!
